1. The police officer's statement "You don't know who you are" in reference to police work to the younger cop is significant. In the next scenes involving these two characters, how does this comment effect the screening?

2. What element do the racism neutral characters such as the locksmith bring to the story? Note that they are still affected by the racism of others although they themselves are portrayed as not racist.

3. Why in the film does the racist rapist cop become the savior? What is the purpose of casting him in these two contrasting roles?
