1. By claiming that the novel contained factual information, how did this affect its reception by the Christian community?
2. Why, since many other novels claim that their contents are based on fact, does “The Da Vinci Code” seem to cause a particular uproar by doing so, although it does not claim directly that Christ was married?
3. What implications does this assertion hold for those of the Christian faith?
4. Are those implications the reasons which Christians oppose the book with such vigor, since they disrupt the foundations of their faith?
